sorry to say this.... but.... i dont really think a khanda goes well with a hindu slogan.... and also many sikhs will get offended by that...

do you know what the khanda represents?! if you dont... then plz dont do it again.... but if you do know what it means then i have no idea why you would put the 2 together....

you cant put it together cuz your half hindu and half sikh... no... it dont work... the khanda represents sikhi is 1 and is neverending and continuous....

if a pewrson was half christian and half sikh.... the christians cross will not go with the khanda... cuz it dont work... you can put it seperatly ... but not together....

thats what im im trying to establish also... is why would someone would want to do that... when it prevails no meaning whats so ever and theryre 2 different things... and means alot to sikhi and to me... but adding what she has... has really offended me and many other fellow sikhs.....

its not about making it effective or making it look good,..... or changing the structure or the anything to the khanda... its all about the meaning of what is the Khanda.... khanda has so many meanings which is pure... so altering the khanda means changing the meaning of what it originally meant... and that is totally wrong!

princess hun, calm down.. I dun see anythin wrong in wat amit has dun here.. hez merely put "protector of Hindus" on a pic of the Khanda, which is a representation of Sikhi. I don't see how dat would offend anyone... unless i'm missing sumthin here... because all i see is the khanda and below it, it says "protector of hindus" (which isn't even a slogan from Hinduism), so i dunno wats the big deal..?

nd my punjabi lay-dee... its impossible to be a "half hindu and half sikh".. we're talking of ideology here.. religion is in your brain, not in your blood! and Sikhism and Hinduism contradict each other in many aspects.. such as idol worship.. or polytheism.. so u cannot be "half hindu nd half sikh"... u can probably call ureself agnostic.. dats wat most of us are anywayz..

the khalsa did protect hindus.

and there's no such thing as half sikh and half hindu. You can be hindu-sikh, or even muslim-sikh, you can't be some half-half religion, doesn't make sense with hindu dharama and culture and sikh panth.
