Thought id post a pic of my dhol
Here is a picture of my dhol, i originally bought it from india but it took alot of modifying to make it a pure westerned dhol.

The multicoloured thing under the treble is part of the strap that goes around my shoulders, instead of hooking it on to the metal things i got it strapped around from the base and treble end, also gives a nice effect, and added support.
