replacing dagga side jus go down any dhol shops and they would be able to help you out. but tell your bro consider having two plastic sides, as thats how its done in india, and you dont need to put as much effort as u need to when playin on da bass sid to get that impact. only problem would be that in a recording studio it sounds fukd

dis is uk, urmm if u wna do it urself , dril the holes, wet the bass, leave it to dry, den place it bc on, lol n tighten it wid da ropes,
firstly wa u have to do is make the holes to do this you would use a screwdriver that is rougly the same diamitar of the rope if it aint wen you put the ropes in it will be hard and can rip your skin to make the hole mark them out using the old skin one u maked then out make sure they are propley beacause ther is no turning back if you make a mistake one you are happy with the marking get the screw driver and make it hot enough so it can penitrate throught the skin one srew driver is hot the poke the screwdriver on the parkings you have made repeat this process for all the holes next thing you would do is soak the skin in warm water for bout 20-30 mintues ones fully soaked it is ready for the strings to be put on when putting the strings on dont put the sting so tight keep them loose for bout 2 days because the skin will shrink when it drys up when it is dry then you can tighten the ropes but not too much because the skin is still britle and can crack when your playing let it set in for bout 1 month or so then you can re tighten the ropes to the full extent i hope this helped
