Idk i was going crazy but i'm ok now..i joined TFD forum and they helped out a lot they have plenty active dholis there.

I talked with my uncles and they said that they kno what to do and what wood to look for (kaali taali) so i'm pumped up and excited..they got the pic and everything too.

achaaa...........thass good now you don't have to keep postinn!..about dholzz n whatnot LOL.. so wha does the dhol look like then, after all that, I wannaaaaaa seeeeeeeee?!?!?

They haven't actually got it but they know what to get.

When they do find the barrel and get it made (takes a week usually) then they'll probably take pictures and send them to me...then ship it over to me and i'll take more pictures!

When they send me the pictures i'll post them the second i get them!

I wouldn't worry about what it looks like, more importantly is how it sounds

Most shell's aren't too bad, i think you should just let your buyer be cautious on any defects,

Kaali taali, again, this is not going to benefit the way the dhol sounds, any hard wood that's treated well does the job

Having a straight dhol gives it a more hard sound, but again that isn't important when it comes to having a good dhol

the most important element of a dhol is the skins.
