Ticket scam at Miss Pooja - Gravesend Woodville Halls
A complete scam!
Did anyone have trouble with their tickets at Gravesend Woodville Halls on Sunday 31st Aug?
The promoters were selling tickets at £15/25/30/50 (in fact it was £35, not £30).
When 10 of us arrived in the concert hall, we were told our £25 "seats" would only allow us to stand!!! A few hundred others also had the same problem. When we asked the ushers about sets they just said "ask Ambi, the promoter, its nothing to do with us, he is outside"
Line up - Doors opened at 7.40pm (advertised - 7pm) show started at 8.20pm (should be 7.30pm), Miss Pooja came on stage at 8.55pm, left 9.25pm, then back again around 10.15pm for 40 mins or so.
Amongst all of the havoc caused by the tickets, this was most definetly not a "seated family show" as advertised. Drunk freshies, shouting, running up to the stage, standing in the aisles was just part of the problem.
As always, the "punjabi's" who claim to be so proud and on top of the world did not fail to be a their usual scammers.
And yes - I am Punjabi - just gutted that we treat each other like this.

Where did you buy the tickets from?
I went to the show and also purchased the £25 ticket, which clearly states STANDING in big bold letters, I brought mine from the Woodville Halls Box office, and they warned it will be standing.
I have to say i never expected the doors to open on time, the phrase "Indian Timing" was invented for a reason.
Have to agree with the freshies, my god, it was the same sort of thing at the Jugnu Bhangra event they did for Vaisakhi.
They only go to do some bhangra, smell the venue out and perv.
The shouting of "POOJA" when some one else is trying to perform is uncalled for.
I would have kicked them all out, especially the ones that kept throwing money on the stage, the idiots probably hav to work on site form 6AM until 6PM but lets throw a £20 on the stage - thats only 4 hours money!!
