nah they didn't give it because what happened was, the ball went past the line while it was in cech's arms, but giggs sort of pushed petr cech past the line as he slid...so it werent really direct contact with the ball when it went past the line...it was contact with the goalie

lot of controversy round it though..some people are saying that giggs only slid because essien fouled him...so people are saying it should have been a penalty anyway

yep yep.. this is my opinion as if you think abt it if giggs was to push Ceche he would of used his arms to properly push but his momentum from essien fouls giggs into ceche with a faster momentum that he would of had if essien didnt foul him!!

if i had an unlimited transfer budget, i'd be buying players!..but i reckon there should be a limit on how much a team should spend on transfers each transfer window...because jose mourinho takes the pi*s!

he may take the p***, but if he buys who ever he wants, he can't make the new players work as a unit as part of the existing team. E.G. Sheva and Ballack - Waste of money. Ballack should of stayed at Munich and Sheva ain't done much to prove he's worth the 30 mill that chelsea paid.

apparently he's calming down with the spending spree now though lol...he's been saying that people won't be seeing many big budget moves from chelsea this summer, although shevchenko's future is still in doubt..speculation has been going around that he's going to return to a.c milan.

chelsea will become a zero team like real madrid full of gud players but all of them have ego and cant corperate which each other, so the results gonna be theyre gonna lose important matches etc etc
