GotYourPriceCheck 60706: the new shopping revolution

A new text message price comparison service, GotYourPriceCheck 60706, is set to revolutionise the way Brits shop for good. GotYourPriceCheck is the first service to provide price comparisons on your mobile based upon a given location, enabling shoppers to quickly and easily find the best prices for products in their local stores.

Savvy shoppers can text 60706 when they’re out and about shopping, to find the best deals on electrical goods and gadgets such as TVs, computer games, cameras and kitchen appliances, without wasting time scouring the high street or spending hours researching prices online. With a comprehensive database of thousands of products, from both small to medium sized independent stores and large retail chains, GotYourPriceCheck aims to be the best resource for thrifty shoppers.

According to research by GotYourPriceCheck*, Brits waste hours traipsing around their local high street or shopping centre comparing the prices of items they want to buy. Two thirds of those quizzed (67%) find this both tiring and stressful, over a quarter (28%) are concerned about the amount they spend on petrol, and one in five (20%) are worried about the impact their shopping miles may have on the environment.

Shoppers wishing to use the service simply have to text the word Price (space) followed by the brand (space), model number (space) and location (postal code or town name) to 60706.

Within 60 seconds they will receive a text alert from GotYourPriceCheck’s extensive database, which will provide details of the two local retailers with the lowest prices, as well as the best web price for comparison. Shoppers pay their standard network charge plus 35p per incoming text.
