Monty, Monty, Monty Panesar!
Mudhsuden Singh Panesar, known in the game as Monty, has quickly established himself a national hero following a series-winning display against Pakistan! Believe it or not, Monty made his test debut for England earlier this year against India at Nagur, March 2006! Monty’s first victim came within his debut match, and the wicket was no other than the little master him self Sachin Tendulkar. Since then Monty has played 10 test matches and has achieved tremendous figures of 33 wickets! More importantly Monty has become a national cult hero and won over millions of cricket fans around the world! Panesar’s achievement has made him a favorite to win this years BBC sports personality of the year award along side other world class athletes! This winter Monty will face his toughest test when England faces Australia for the battle of the Ashes. Within a few hours all the tickets for the Ashes were sold out! The first Ashes test match begins on 23rd of November at Brisbane!
